Court!

We have our court date! February 15! That's big whooo hooo! I wasn't expecting it to be until March from what our agency had said. That's fast, but one day fewer in the orphanage is one day better for our little guy! We're scrambling around looking at flights and such. The judge is asking for an update to our home study, which isn't really an update to our home study, but our home study is having to do it. It basically is a run down of our first visit on home study agency letterhead. We'll have to get it apostilled and hand carry it to Krasnoyarsk. Our agency's Russian office isn't concerned about the black list; it seems that in our region at least, the black list affects those trying to get their dossier registered but not court. So, unless we hear something different tomorrow, it's all on! Yeah! Another great news about our court date is it is one day before our home study expires; two days before our girls' medical expires--so we don't have to redo those. We won't be home in time to celebrate our little guy's first birthday in the states, but at least he'll have his first birthday with his momma and daddy with him. That certainly counts for something doesn't it? I'll post more about our details once we get our flights booked.
