Post Placement Reports

Everyone who adopts from Russia must file 4 post placement reports.  These are reports completed by your social worker about how the child is doing in your home.  You submit 5-6 pictures along with the report to your adoption agency who apostilles it and sends it to your adoptive region in Russia.  These reports are due at 6 months home, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years.  We just finished our third PPR with Andrei.

However, due to Russia closing American adoptions, there are several agencies who have closed their doors and yet families are not finished filing all their PPRs.  I had this link in my email this morning about what to do if your agency is closed and you still need to file PPRs.  Our adoption agency is still filing the PPRs in order to not hinder any waiting families in the process. Hope this can help anyone!
