Pants Peeing Excited!

Our state police checks came in the mail yesterday. That took only one week! Way to go Texas DPS Criminal Records! And, they sent two notarized copies without me requesting them. Yeah! That is checked off the dossier "to do" list! All I have left on the dossier checklist right now is our realtor's declaration (We have a realtor friend who is going to do that for us; hopefully we'll get it this week.) We still have to do the girls' medicals and our psychotic exam (excuse me, psychiatric exam--after this week I'm feeling a bit psychotic...) but those expire 3 months after they have been signed, so we need to wait until our first trip to get those taken care of. The rest of the dossier has to be completed by our home study agency and our adoption agency. That is pants peeing excited news!

Tomorrow I will contact the winners of our international adoption doctors contest (the ones we will use to review our referrals medicals) and find out the details about what to do when the time comes. No, we haven't completely decided, but maybe after visiting with the offices tomorrow, we'll know for sure. We are still debating on whether to have a western trained doctor fly to the orphanage and examine the child in person. Decisions, decisions...
